Assignment One | Project Based Website Critique
The purpose of this assignment is to begin the process of looking at project based web sites in a critical way. Assessing the pros and cons of the user experience while understanding the underpinnings of who the site is targeted to.
You are required to pick one site that uses the project model; Focusing on a specific topic, utilizing video, stills, audio, motion graphics and typography to enhance the user experience. Be prepared to show and discuss your findings in class.
Write a post that meets the below requirements. Share the site you’ve chosen with your group, pick the best one and be prepared to share your findings next class. Answer the following questions to amass a list of best (and worst) practices to help us make decisions on our own site. What did you find that rocks? What’s lacking?
